Founded in 1971 in Rockford, Illinois, Rodix Inc. helped revolutionize the US automation industry with the development of one of the world’s first solid-state machine control, the MC-600 Machine Control. As manufacturing needs evolved, so did we—introducing solid-state vibratory feeder controls like the FC-30, FC-50, FC-60, and FC-80, offering innovative features such as built-in optical sensors and seamless integration with PLCs.
Today, Rodix remains a leader in vibratory feeder control technology. Our product lines are divided into two major categories:

- Fixed Frequency Controls (FC Series) — Among these lines are our FC-200, FC-90 Plus, FC-40 Plus, and FC-70 Plus product families delivering full or half wave output based on AC line frequency.
- Variable Frequency Controls (VF Series) — Using frequency inversion to precisely tune to the feeder’s natural resonant frequency. Our VFC series also features co-mixed VF (variable) and FC-200 (fixed) into a single controller package.
All Rodix controls are engineered for versatility and durability, offering analog and digital interfaces and a variety of packaging options: Open Frame, General Purpose (NEMA 1), and Oil Resistant (NEMA 12). Our controls are designed to integrate directly with optical sensors (PNP/NPN), proximity sensors, PLCs, air jet assist manifolds, and our proprietary feedback sensors for automatic frequency and amplitude adjustment. We also offer VDC controllers in each FC series family.
We also offer a full lineup of unmachined vibratory drive bases, linear inline feeders, and bulk storage hoppers.
In 2025, our engineering team is currently hard at work to release VF control packages featuring integrated EtherNet/IP protocol.
We specialize in quickly adapting our standard products for special installations and customer-specific applications. All products are assembled, tested, and shipped from our ISO 9001:2015 with Design-certified facility in Rockford, IL. Our controls are UL/cUL listed, with CE-compliant models available across our product lines.
